Return Policy

A.I. Friedman will gladly refund the full purchase price (excluding freight) on any item you are not completely satisfied within 14 days of receipt of purchase provided it is unused and in its original packaging. Return freight charges are the full responsibility of the customer.

Exceptions to this policy include:

  • Furniture that has been set-up and cannot be disassembled and returned to its original cartons will require a 25% restocking charge.
  • Furniture and equipment shipped either directly from the manufacturer or through A.I. Friedman where that manufacturer requires a re-stocking charge.
  • Special order items or special cut paper or boards cannot be returned.

In most cases where product like paint, paper, pads, markers, etc. are received damaged, defective or in error, you will not be responsible for the costs of returning the items provided you contact us within 14 days of receipt and save the original shipping cartons.

In cases where furniture, picture frames or equipment arrives damaged or defective, you must contact us within 24 hours (or the next business day) and save all original packaging and shipping cartons. Upon delivery, if there is visible damage, the shipment should be refused. If cartons are at all damaged you must note the damage on the receipt that you sign. Since title has passed to the carrier, it may be necessary to have the carrier inspect the damage and its packaging.

Please provide the order number, your name, the product you wish to return, and a way to contact you. We will advise you of the best method of return.
