Freight

For items of average weight and size, A.I. Friedman offers 5 methods of shipment; FedEx Ground, FedEx Express Saver, FedEx 2Day, FedEx Standard Overnight, and FedEx Overnight Priority. Your freight costs are based on the weight and size of the merchandise you selected, the zip code you provided within your shipping address and the distance from our New York distribution center. FedEx Ground is the default shipping for our site. You will need to “select” the other FedEx services if required or set one as your preference. For items that are shipped from the manufacturer or require additional freight charges due to size, weight or hazardous freight conditions, the above options will not be available to you and you will be notified that a Truck Shipment will be required and the actual freight charges you will be required to pay. (There will be a message within the long description of an item stating if the item may require an additional freight charge.) A.I. Friedman does not currently ship web orders internationally.

Merchandise that is dropped shipped from a manufacturer or shipped from any of our other facilities could have a different delivery schedule than the ones listed below. (You will be notified of this by email)

FedEx Ground

1-5 business days within the contiguous U.S.; 3-7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii. Package size: up to 150 lbs. for packages weighing 100-150 lbs., 108” in length; 165” in length plus girth (L+2W+2H). FedEx Ground cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. No hazardous material can be delivered to Alaska or Hawaii.

Please note: If selected, FedEx Express shipments are available on orders received prior to 2:00 p.m. EST. Orders placed after that time or on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped the following business day via the method you have selected.

FedEX 2Day

Delivery by 4:30 pm in 2 business days for most shipments (by 7 pm to residences). Monday - Friday, with Saturday delivery available to many major markerts for an additional charge. Available throughout all 50 states. Delivery to some rural areas of Alaska and ZIP codes in Hawaii in 3 business days. 

FedEx Express Saver

4:30 p.m. third business day (by 7 p.m. to residential addresses) within continental U.S. only. Monday – Friday Package size: up to 150 lbs. each, and 119” in length and 165” in length plus girth. 

FedEx Standard Overnight

Next business delivery day by 3:00 p.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 to rural areas. Monday – Friday Not available in all areas of Alaska and Hawaii. Package size: 8 oz. FedEx letters and other packages up to 150 lbs. each, and 119” in length, and 165” in length plus girth.

FedEx Priority Overnight

Next business day delivery day by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. to remote areas; by noon or 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Package size: 8 oz. FedEx letters and other packages up to 150 lbs. each, and 119” in length, an 165” in length plus girth.

Truck Delivery

For those items that require truck deliveries, you will be notified. An additional freight charge will be added to the item specifically via a surcharge at checkout or at checkout you will be told that via email you will be given the actual delivery charge for that item.

Please be advised that truck shipments are “Tail Gate” shipments and not generally inside deliveries. Drivers will rarely take a large carton, crate or package to upper floor locations without additional compensation. You will need to notify A.I. Friedman if you require special consideration for your delivery so we can then relay that information on to the trucking company.
